The problem is to start making miniatures. For me miniatures are like sushi, you start slowly and doubtful, but then it becomes an addiction. But its a wonderful addiction! :)
Now I'm addicted to cake stands, teapots and hand painting and believe me, it's great fun!

Crikey i aspire to only be so good as you! Only being doing minis 18months or so and try to make as much as i can for my own scenes. It's a challenge getting the professional look which you seem to have the knack for!
I've just started a miniature box room for my new grandbaby expected next February and i certainly sit there for ages before starting something not knowing where to start with decor but you are right... it takes on its own life as you slowly move on. I can't post any pics of it yet on my blog...it's a secret for my daughter shhhh LOL i'll be putting it in with all the new baby stuff when the little tyke arrives :-) My style is ... unique...i don't like tidy/prissy scenes so yes...it's going to be another slightly 'messy' scene.
